Coda electric vehicle starts at $37,250
So the car has finally hit the stores in California for $37,250,......not bad. Considering the formal price was going to be much higher about $44,900, still more expensive then the 2012 Nissan Leaf, which starts at $35,200. The coda qualifies for a $2,500 EV rebate and a 7,500 federal tax rebate, which would bring the price down to $27,250. What does $27,250 buy you, a 134 horsepower little beast that gets a estimated range of 150 miles on a charge. Per charge takes about 6 hours with a 240 volt charger, and goes up to 85 mph.
